Ethical guidelines of Up-To-Date Environmental Engineering AG:
We voluntarily commit ourselves to fairness at all levels of our everyday business life. Our intentions and actions shall be characterized by ethical responsibility. In particular we commit ourselves to: Fairness to mankind as a whole: Only those products and services are offered which are humane. Fairness to nature and the environment: In the manufacture and sale of products or services great value is placed on the sensible use of natural resources and the formation of environmentally-damaging substances is minimized. Fairness and respect to all forms of life: Abstention from selling, using or developing products (plants, meat etc.) which have been developed by gene manipulation or originate from non-justified breeding species. Fairness to society: The work is not aimed at maximizing profit; instead the objectives are orientated towards other moral concepts. Fairness to employees: They are treated as mature people in every respect with equal rights regardless of gender and origin who are
compensated appropriately for their work. Fairness to financial backers: They receive appropriate compensation for their services. Regular, honest information about the business operation, together with responsible medium and long-term planning, helps to minimize the
risk of losses. Fairness to customers: The characteristics of the product and services are correctly declared and they are sold at a reasonable price. The customer is treated as a partner. Fairness to suppliers: Part-finished and finished products as well as services are purchased at reasonable prices which permit the supplier to survive in business. The supplier is also treated as a partner. Fairness to competitors: They are treated with respect and propriety.
